Kim Elith
Head of School Assessments & Partnerships
Kim is a passionate and highly experienced senior education executive with a proven track record in curriculum development, strategic leadership, and stakeholder management achieved through senior executive positions at large independent secondary schools in Australia.
Nick Connolly
Head of Analysis & Reporting
Nick has a wide range of expertise in the theory and the practice of tests and test data. He has worked on a wide range of assessments including NAPLAN and PISA. He has also runs major assessment research projects such as the National Assessment Project – Science Literacy.
Nick routinely provides expert advice to external organisations who are developing their own assessments. His interests include effective use of item metadata to develop richer assessment reporting.
Dr Paul Montuoro
Chief Psychometrician
Paul is a former researcher at La Trobe University, and has extensive educational experience in State and Independent schools in Victoria.
His role has a strong focus on the psychometric needs of the AAS suite of products, in addition to providing support to other significant projects for AAS and other Janison products.
Matt Simpson
Manager, Learning Analytics
Matt works as Manager, Learning Analytics within the Janison Assessments AAS team, with a focus on PSAM. Moving from his previous Janison role in the NAPLAN online team, Matt now works directly with senior secondary schools using the PSAM system to help them uncover important insights from their data.
Before working for Janison, Matt spent 20 years working in secondary education for numerous independent schools across the eastern seaboard. He is passionate about empowering educators to capitalise on the data available to them to inform discussions and plan for educational improvement.
